What is Juridat?
Juridat is the official Belgian case law database maintained by the judiciary. It contains published decisions from Belgian courts, searchable by various criteria.
Searching Case Law
- Click Research > Juridat Search in the toolbar
- Enter your search terms
- Apply filters (court, date range, subject matter)
- Browse results
- Click to view full decision

Saving Results
Save relevant decisions to your cases:
- Find a relevant decision
- Click Save to Case
- Select the target case
- Add notes about relevance
- Decision is saved in case documents
💡 Tip: Create a "Research" folder in your case documents to keep all case law organized.
Citation Formats
Copy citations in standard Belgian format:

When viewing a decision, Praxis shows:
- Later decisions citing this case
