Getting Started

How do I sign up for Praxis?

Visit praxislegal.be/register and fill in your firm details. After verifying your email, our team will review your request and set up your environment. You'll receive login credentials by email.

Is there a free trial or demo?

Yes. Visit praxis.praxislegal.be/demo to explore the full interface with sample data. No account required.

Can I use Praxis without the desktop app?

Yes. The Cloud Portal at praxis.praxislegal.be provides the full Praxis experience in any modern browser. The desktop app adds offline access and system tray integration.

Features

Which languages does Praxis support?

Praxis is available in Dutch (NL), French (FR), English (EN), and German (DE). You can switch languages at any time from the language selector in the top-right corner.

Can I sync with Outlook and Google Calendar?

Yes. Connect your Microsoft 365 or Google account in Settings to enable bidirectional calendar sync. Deadlines and hearings appear in your external calendar, and external events show up in Praxis.

Does Praxis have an Praxis Bot?

Yes. The Praxis Bot is available as a chat panel in the bottom-right corner of the interface. It can help with legal research, document drafting, and case analysis. It's also accessible via WhatsApp for quick lookups on the go.

Can my clients access their case information?

Yes. The Client Portal gives your clients secure access to their case updates, invoices, documents, and messaging. You control which cases and documents each client can see.

Billing & Pricing

How does invoicing work?

Create invoices by pulling in unbilled time entries and expenses from a case. Praxis handles Belgian VAT (21%), VIES validation for EU clients (reverse charge), and generates professional PDF invoices.

What are the pricing plans?

Visit praxislegal.be/pricing for current pricing. Plans start at €15/user/month (Team Essentials) or €15/month (Essentials). Plus tiers include Praxis Bot and WetWijzer integration. Enterprise plans with SSO, white-labeling, and dedicated support are available.

Security

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored on EU-hosted servers (Hetzner, Germany). Data never leaves the European Union. All connections use TLS 1.3 encryption and data is encrypted at rest.

Does Praxis support multi-factor authentication?

Yes. MFA can be enabled per user or enforced firm-wide. We support TOTP-based authentication with any standard authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.).

Is Praxis GDPR compliant?

Yes. Praxis is built with GDPR compliance in mind, including data export, right-to-erasure workflows, full audit logging, and EU data residency. See our Security page for details.

Can I import data from another system or another system?

Yes. Praxis includes a Migration Wizard that guides you through importing cases, contacts, and time entries from other practice management systems. Contact us for personalized migration support.

Is there an API?
