Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with Praxis in under 10 minutes. This guide walks you through the essential setup steps.

Request Access

Visit praxislegal.be/register and fill in your firm details. After verifying your email, our team will review your request and set up your personalized environment.

You'll receive login credentials by email once your account is activated.

Download the Desktop App

Download Praxis for Windows from our downloads page. Run the installer and follow the setup wizard. The app will automatically configure itself.

Alternatively, access Praxis directly from your browser at praxis.praxislegal.be.

Log In & Explore the Dashboard

Log in with your credentials. You'll land on the Dashboard, which shows:

Create Your First Case

Navigate to Cases in the sidebar and click New Case. Fill in:

Add a Contact

Navigate to Contacts and click New Contact. Add your client's information.

Plus tip: Enter a Belgian enterprise number (KBO/BCE) to auto-fill company details instantly.

Track Your Time

Go to Time in the sidebar. Use the Active Timer at the top - type a description, select a case, and click Start. The timer runs in the background while you work.

Click Stop when done. Your time entry is automatically saved and linked to the case.
